Let Natural Talents Guide Your Job Search
Monday, March 30, 2009, 02:21 PM - Job Seeker News & Info.

Many job seekers are in panic mode applying for whatever
jobs are available. Similar to trolling the entire Pacific
Ocean for one chest of sunken treasure. While this keeps a
person busy, it's a "nonsense approach." Fully 75% of the
general population in the U.S. have jobs in which they have
no natural talent. This leads to high stress, low
productivity, and poor morale. It also makes it impossible
for the person to excel in their career because they have no
competitive advantage.

Search for a job and base your career on something you are
interested in, good at, have a competitive advantage in, and
are passionate about. Let your natural talents guide your
job search. Everyone has natural talents that can be turned
into income, especially you!

In these challenging times, many hard working Minnesotans are finding that their career options have changed drastically. An increasing number of workers are finding that they are unemployed with no short term prospects of finding work in their chosen field. Many people are re-assessing their career and looking into new options.

To assist people in transition, MINNESOTAJOBS.COM has developed an event to help unemployed or underemployed workers learn about many interesting career options. Our event will also be very helpful to high school students as well.

On Friday, May 8th, 2009, MINNESOTAJOBS.COM will be holding the Train for Change College Fair. We will be hosting a large number of schools offering short term training programs in a broad range of fields. This event is free for all transitioners interested in exploring training for new careers.

Our goal and the goal of the participating schools is to do whatever we can do to help frustrated workers overcome these difficult times and reach for new career heights. There are an incredible array of career options that require short term training. We're sure many transitioning workers will find learning new skills, combined with their existing career experiences, will help them achieve new employment successes.

The MINNESOTAJOBS.COM Train for Change College fair will be held at the National Sports Center Schwan Center in Blaine on May 8th from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. The Schwan center is located at 1700 105th Ave NE.
